Broomstick - 2 Day / 2 Night

Whitsunday Maxi Sailing on Broomstick

Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world's most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to charter in 2001.

Broomstick and her multi award winning crew will take you on an unforgettable sailing adventure throughout the Whitsunday Islands and, weather permitting, may visit the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. You can participate in all activities such as diving, snorkelling, bushwalking and helping to sail a true Maxi or simply sit back and just take it all in, the choice is yours.

Please be advised that from 01 August 2008 this sailing adventure is no longer operating.
