Reef Odyssey is a 35 metre expedition style cruise vessel providing guests with the utmost comfort and stability.

Cruises explore the remote areas of the Whitsunday Islands, their fringing reefs, bays, beaches and rainforests, and the Great Barrier Reef with all its teeming colour and life.

Visit some of the most magnificent reef systems on the Great Barrier Reef. Experience the amazing underwater world first hand, knowing you are creating lifetime memories. For those not wanting to get their feet wet you can board one of the ship's glass bottom boats for a "dry" insight into this other world.

Stroll the white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach, take a swim in its crystal clear waters, then sit back with your favourite drink and take in the splendour of the Whitsundays at sunset.

You have the opportunity to participate in guided walks through this World Heritage area and the marine biology guide will accompany you on snorkelling tours and island rainforest walks.

Cruising time is kept to a minimum allowing maximum time for exploring the reef and islands. At night Reef Odyssey anchors in sheltered coves or lagoons, allowing a peaceful uninterrupted sleep.

Itinerary Options

3 Night Cruise:
Saturday: Depart Shute Harbour for Hamilton Island. Cruise to Whitehaven Beach for swimming, beachcombing and a hike to Eagles Landing at Hill Inlet.
Sunday: Explore the coral chasms of Hook and Hardy Reefs. Overnight at Hardy Reef.
Monday: Visit Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island where you can go ashore for a walk or to the beach. Cruise through breathtaking Nara Inlet to see the aboriginal rock art then to Cid Harbour for our overnight anchorage.
Tuesday: Hike to the lookout at Cid Harbour then cruise via the Molle group of islands before disembarking at Shute Harbour or Hamilton Island

3 Night Cruise:
Tuesday: Depart Shute Harbour for Hamilton Island. Cruise to Tongue Bay on North Whitehaven Beach for swimming, beachcombing or just lazing in the sun.
Wednesday: Cruise to the outer Barrier Reef and spend the day exploring the underwater wonders of Black Reef. Overnight at Line Reef.
Thursday: Return to the islands with a stopover at Langford Island for snorkelling and beach activities. Cruise to South Molle Island Resort where you can take a hike to the peak at Mt Jeffries for a bird's eye view of the Whitsundays.
Friday: Cruise via Dent Passage to Hamilton Island before returning to Shute Harbour.

6 Night Cruise: Combine the two three night cruises for an extended Whitsunday getaway.
