Brampton Island Whitsundays

Brampton Island is located at the base of the Whitsundays Island Passage, just out from Mackay. It is home to 12 stunning beaches, 7 of which are easily accessed by the National Park walking tracks that are featured on the island. Just offshore from Brampton Island there are a number of surrounding reefs with a diverse range of coral and marine life.

Ideally located for visiting the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, Brampton Island is scattered with pristine National Park interrupted only by a few kilometres of walking trails and the unique calls of the 50 plus species of birds that call the park home. Unlike many of the Whitsunday Islands, Brampton Island boasts its very own coral reef just off the main beach and is one of very few islands that don't allow day trippers, allowing guests to relax in peace and tranquillity.

Relaxing is the favourite pastime on Brampton Island however there is also plenty of other island activities to enjoy including water sports, hiking, archery, tennis, snorkelling, cruising in a catamaran, playing a round of golf and more.
